Service Quality Questions and Answers

1.  Does UWC offer the same quality of service that I presently enjoy with my current long distance provider?

UWC uses the networks of only Tier 1 carriers with vast global fiber optic capacity.  You should have the same or better quality service than you are presently enjoying from your current long distance provider.   get with your current carrier.  You should also enjoy faster connect times and crystal clear leading edge fiber optic networks.

Yes.  Regardless of problems or concerns you have, UWC stands ready to improve what you have experienced from other long distance service providers.  We would welcome the opportunity to improve your long distance service.  It is what UWC does every day for all of UWC's customers.  This is the main reason we are in business.

3.  Are there significant quality differences between long distance companies?

Yes and no.  The telecommunications industry was deregulated in the 1980's.  AT&T was divided into six "Baby Bells."  Since that time, long distance stopped being a monopoly provided only by AT&T, and is now considered to be a commodity, available from a variety of sources.  All of the long distance companies, including the "big boys" (AT&T, Sprint and MCI), use the same fiber optic networks to transport their calls.  While some long distance companies claim that their service is of "higher quality," there is actually very little difference between the physical assets of carriers.  The biggest difference that sets companies apart today, is in the interface between the customer and the companies' respective customer service departments, the human assets of carriers.  This is where UWC really shines.  We have real people available who actually answer our phones to immediately address your questions and help to provide solutions to your concerns.
